You can delete your PaceUp account at any time. Account deletion is permanent and removes all of your data from our servers.
Heads up. Deleting your account is irreversible. Once your data is purged it cannot be restored — including your activity history, saved routes, and crew memberships. If you only want to take a break, sign out instead.
1. How to delete your account
The fastest way is right inside the app:
- Open the PaceUp app on your iPhone or Android device
- Sign in to your account
- Tap your profile (bottom-right tab)
- Tap the gear icon to open Settings
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
- Confirm by typing your password
2. What gets deleted
Within 30 days of account deletion, the following data is permanently removed from PaceUp's servers:
- Your profile, name, email, and password
- All runs, rides, and walks you tracked
- Saved routes you created
- Photos and share cards you uploaded
- Direct messages and crew chat messages
- Friend connections and crew memberships
- Push notification tokens and device data
- Any imported activity from Apple Health, Health Connect, Strava, or Garmin
3. What may be retained
For legal and operational reasons, the following minimal data may be retained for up to 90 days after deletion:
- Anonymized server logs (no personally identifying information)
- Aggregate analytics (no link back to your account)
- Backup snapshots, which are automatically purged on rotation
Plain-English summary. The data that identifies you is gone within 30 days. The only thing that lingers briefly is anonymous infrastructure data — logs and backups that don't contain your name, email, or activities — and those rotate out on their own.
4. Can't access the app?
If you can't sign in to delete your account through the app, email us at support@paceupapp.com with your registered email address and we'll process the deletion within 7 business days.
