Strava Integration Help Strava
How do I connect my Strava account to PaceUp?
- Open the PaceUp app
- Tap your profile (bottom-right) → gear icon → Settings
- Scroll to Connectors → tap Strava
- Tap Connect Strava — you'll be redirected to Strava's website to authorize
- After granting permission, you'll be returned to PaceUp with your Strava activities ready to sync
How do I disconnect Strava from PaceUp?
- Settings → Connectors → Strava
- Tap Disconnect
- This revokes PaceUp's access via Strava's deauthorize API
- Imported activities remain in your PaceUp history — only the connection is removed. To remove imported activities, delete them individually from your Solo tab
My Strava activities aren't appearing in PaceUp
- Open Settings → Connectors → Strava → tap Sync now
- Sync pulls activities from the past 90 days. Older activities are not auto-imported
- If your token has expired, the app will prompt you to reconnect
- Activities you've already imported are deduplicated — they won't appear twice
Who can see my Strava activities in PaceUp?
Only you. Strava-imported activities are visible exclusively on your own personal activity history. They are never shown to:
- Other users on your profile
- Your friends in their friend lists
- Crew leaderboards or crew goal progress
- Search results, friend-discovery, or buddy suggestions
- Any cross-user feed or aggregate
Why isn't my Strava run showing on a friend's leaderboard?
By design — Strava activities are not shared across users. If you'd like an activity to count toward a crew goal or appear publicly, track it natively in PaceUp instead of importing from Strava.
How do I delete a single Strava-imported activity?
- Open the Solo tab in PaceUp
- Find the activity (Strava-imported activities show a small Strava badge)
- Long-press the activity → Delete
